The Accommodation

The property is approached via the original Church front door, into an entrance lobby with Victorian tiled flooring. An inner door opens into the large reception room which boasts a wealth of period charm and original features. Upon entering the room, a raised plinth made from the original Church pews leads in turn to the bespoke handmade staircase with Italian wrought iron spindles. To the front elevation are two restored stained glass arched windows and a unique oculus window with circular stone mullions and individual stained glass panes. At the far end of the room is the restored Church altar with a raised lectern and original wrought iron surround. The room is flanked by six arched wooden windows and cast iron wall lights. The decorative moulded ceiling has been created to reflect design elements throughout the Church.

The dining kitchen has a stunning vaulted ceiling which is over 20 feet high and original half height wooden panelling. The handmade oak kitchen has a quartz worktop and a large island unit with an inset Belfast sink. Integrated appliances include a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a Bertazzoni range oven with two ovens and a gas hob. There is a Victorian fireplace surround and an inset log burning stove set within the fireplace, bespoke handmade arched windows and a door to the side that leads to the outside patio area.

Within this room is a ‘secret’ bookshelf door which provides access to a ground floor bedroom at the rear of the property. This room has a fitted double bed with storage underneath, a communications cupboard which houses the gas fired boiler, underfloor heating pipework and the high pressure hot water tank.

Behind another secret door is the en-suite shower room which has a walk in shower with rainfall shower head, Burlington sink, WC, heated towel rail and Italian marble flooring. French doors from the bedroom open out into the patio area to the rear of the property.
