Background and Experience.

Gary is a practical, focussed and solutions based Chartered Surveyor and has worked in the North East since 2000.

He joined GFW in 2022 following the merger of Johnson Tucker
LLP, where he was a Partner.

  • BSc (Hons) Urban Property Surveying Northumbria University

    Specialising in Commercial Property Management, acting for property investment companies, charitable trusts and local investors. Oversees the property management team and the day to day running of multiple occupier offices, industrial estates, trade counter, leisure and retail parades, dealing with general maintenance, management issues and administration of service charges.

    Extensive experience setting up, administering and reviewing service charges, ensuring best value and compliance with RICS Professional Standard.

    Fully conversant with all landlord and tenant legislation Gary is involved in negotiating terms for both new and existing leases and providing advice on rent reviews, assignments & licenses for alterations. Gary actively looks for opportunity to add value and maximise return via asset management opportunities.

    Gary also has a wider agency experience dealing with commercial property agency, including acquisition and disposal instructions for both local and national clients.
