FETF 2024: Round 2

FETF 2024: Round 2
With promises in spring that the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund 2024 funding will have multiple application windows, we are expecting another round of FETF applications opening in the near future. Despite awaiting clarification from the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) regarding the certainty of this, be prepared, if you are wanting to make the most of the application when a second round is opened.
It is likely that the same items will be available as in the first round of applications earlier this year, they have remained fairly similar each year the grant has been available with the exception of a handful of new additions released each year.
FETF 2024 Round 1 Agreement Holders:
Making your claim
If you are an FETF agreement holder from the first round of applications this year, the claim by date will soon be approaching
Claims must be made by 10th January 2025.
By this time, you must have:
Evidence required to make your claim:
Making changes to your existing agreement:
If you don’t want to claim for something that is in your agreement but want to make the claim for everything else, a request must submitted to the RPA to remove the item from your agreement before a claim for the remaining items can be made. This is considered by the RPA on a case by case basis and, the agreement with the item removed must still be above the minimum grant value of £1,000. Once the item is removed, only then can we make the claim for the rest of the items. If you want to do this, be prepared and ensure the request is sent well before the claim by date.
If you are struggling to have the item on site by the claim by date or are waiting for an item to come back into stock and this will be after the claim by date, an agreement extension must be
requested to the RPA. Your claim will likely be rejected if you submit it after the deadline without a confirmed extension. This was a common occurrence when making claims for 2023 FETF agreements and receiving extensions to the claim by date proved successful in the majority of cases.
